Cookies
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. Some are needed to make the shop work at all. The rest are optional, and we do not use them unless you say yes.
Your choice, and changing it
When you first visit, we ask which categories you accept. Nothing optional runs before you choose, and declining is exactly as easy as accepting. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
What we use
Strictly necessary — always on
Needed for the shop to work. These keep you signed in, remember your basket, and store your cookie choice.
- Your signed-in session
- The contents of your basket
- Your cookie preferences
Analytics — optional
Tells us which pages people visit and where they run into trouble, so we can fix it. We only ever look at this in aggregate.
- Google Analytics 4
Advertising — optional
Lets us measure whether our adverts work and show you relevant ones on other sites.
- TikTok pixel
- Instagram and Meta pixel
Why “strictly necessary” needs no consent
Keeping you signed in, remembering what is in your basket, and recording your cookie choice are all things the shop cannot do without. The law does not require consent for these, because without them the service you asked for would not work. We still list them here so you know they exist.
Turning cookies off in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop you signing in or checking out, so we would not recommend it.
